My certifications include USCCA Certified Instructor, NRA Certified Handgun Instructor, NRA Chief Range Safety Officer, New Mexico Department of Public Safety Concealed Carry Instructor (#603), and 21 years in military law enforcement (11 years as a Security Policeman and 10 years as a criminal investigator and analyst for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI).
I have been teaching firearms use and safety for more than 30 years, the last 3.5 years as a certified NM Concealed Carry Instructor. One of my primary teaching goals with new shooters is the importance of firearm fundamentals, focused on the formulation of basic shooting skills, and understanding that firearms safety is paramount while one is involved in the shooting sports.
I conduct the majority of the training courses at Founders Ranch located just east of Edgewood, New Mexico.
